Why I Created Genevieve’s Greenhouse

There are certain fictional characters that never really stay on the page.

They become places.

For me, Poison Ivy has always been one of those characters.

Not simply because of the costume.

Not because of the vines.

And certainly not because she’s one of comics’ most recognizable villains.

It’s because She represents an entire atmosphere.

When people think about Poison Ivy, they often picture the bright green costume and red hair.

I picture something different.

A forgotten greenhouse.

Sunlight filtering through old glass.

The scent of damp earth after rain.

Wild roses climbing abandoned stone walls.

A woman who speaks softly enough that you lean in to hear every word.

That feeling has stayed with me for years.

It inspired countless cosplay shoots, videos, stories, and creative projects.

Over time, I realized I wasn’t just recreating a character.

I was slowly building a world.

That world eventually became Genevieve’s Greenhouse.

The page isn’t meant to replace Poison Ivy.

It’s a love letter to everything that makes the character memorable.

Nature.

Mystery.

Beauty.

Quiet confidence.

And the idea that a forest can feel just as magical as any castle.

Inside the Greenhouse you’ll find fantasy-inspired photo sets, original stories, immersive scenery, and artistic interpretations that celebrate the atmosphere surrounding Poison Ivy rather than simply copying her appearance.

Some scenes are whimsical.

Others feel gothic.

Some lean into enchanted forests.

Others resemble forgotten botanical conservatories hidden deep in the woods.

Each one tells another chapter.

One of my favorite parts of creating the Greenhouse is blending practical photography with carefully crafted AI artwork built from my own likeness.

Instead of creating impossible superheroes, I create dreamlike places.

Ancient gardens.

Moonlit forests.

Secret libraries.

Glass conservatories overflowing with ivy.

Places that feel as though they’ve existed forever.

Most importantly, I wanted the page to remain free.
Creativity should have a welcoming front gate.

Whether someone loves fantasy photography, comic-inspired cosplay, storytelling, or simply beautiful forest imagery, they’re invited to explore without an admission fee.

If you’ve ever imagined wandering through a greenhouse where every vine seems to whisper another story, you already understand what I’m trying to create.

Welcome, honeypot.
